In April 1998 we spent 22 days visiting
Western Turkey and Greece.

This journal details our trip to Turkey and Greece. It begins on April 1, 1998 when we began our long trip to Istanbul. It concludes on April 24 when we made the long trip back home from Athens. Days 4 through 16 of our trip found us on an escorted tour through Turkey. We were "on our own" for the remaining days when we were in Greece.

Our Turkey tour group produced a group journal which is available on this site. Our pesonal journal is generally far more detailed than the community journal.

Day 16 Kusadasi to Samos, Greece
