This journal details our trip to Turkey and Greece. It begins on April 1, 1998 when we began our long trip to Istanbul. It concludes on April 24 when we made the long trip back home from Athens. Days 4 through 16 of our trip found us on an escorted tour through Turkey. We were "on our own" for the remaining days when we were in Greece.
- Day 1 The flight across the US and take off for Istanbul

- Day 10 Guzelyurt to Konya
- Day 11 Konya to Antalya
- Day 12 Mediterranean Cruise
- Day 13 Antalya to Pamukkale
- Day 14 Didyma, Miletus
- Day 15 Ephesus, Virgin Mary's House
- Day 16 Kusadasi to Samos, Greece
