Secrest Arboretum
Ohio State University's Secrest Arboretum is a 110 acre outdoor laboratory and landscape garden. Theme gardens feature over 2,500 varieties of woody and herbaceous plants, highlighting varied ecosystems and best landscape practices. These beautiful gardens illustrate the use of style, color and texture within plant habitats to establish a sustainable landscape. Arboretum hours are dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. There is no admission charge. You are free to smell, study, photograph and simply enjoy.
These photos were all taken on August 2, 2018 during a visit that lasted about two hours. The two butterfly photos were taken with a Canon T7i. All others were taken with a Canon 6D. All were shot handheld and processed with Photoshop 19.1.5 using raw files.
