Bode - Sierra Ghost Town
Bodie is a California State HIstoric Park that preserves a ghost town from the 1800s in a state of arrested decay. Gold was discovered in the area in 1859. By 1879 Bodie has a population of about 10,000.
The last three miles into Bodie is a very rough, unpaved road.
