We spent the night at the delightful Thompson's B&B in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Bill and Mary Pohll were very cordial hosts. They have retired since our visit and no longer accept reservations.
There is a very nice view of the Upper Klamath Lake from the large observation deck at the B&B.
The observation deck looks out onto a local park.
This little chipmonk braved the jays to get some breakfast.
This young Steller's jay flew to the branch and stayed long enough for me to take a couple of shots.
I like the way the real jay has the same posture as the metal bird.
These two California Quail really went after each other. I'm sure it was a disagreement over one of the nearby lady quail.
This fawn is approaching a water tub for an early morning drink. Mom was just a few feet away.
